Medals night Fri 26th Nov 🥇🥈🥉🎖

Not Little Athletics related but we love sharing in our athlete’s successes. Some of our senior athletes belong to both Little Athletics and Queensland Athletics (QA).

Yesterday QA held its annual State Relay Championships.
Two of our u14 girls Charlotte Ferguson and Skye Presland-Tack competed in the u16 4×100m relay and did themselves proud helping out their club by running up an age group ( against girls 2 years older). Great job ladies. 💖

Two of our u14 boys Angus Dine and Daniel Harlow competed in the u14 4×100m – their team not only won gold but also broke the Qld State Record!!!!!! 🎉🥇 ( not ratified yet). 🎉 The boys also won gold in the Long Jump relay, and Dan gold in the 4×400m relay.
( special mention and kudos Angus helping another club’s junior member who’d never used blocks how to on the start block – at QA blocks are mandatory. Great sportsmanship Angus).

Which brings us to our do over Medals night this Friday 26th Nov. Only Redcliffe Little Athletics registered athletes. 5 events points counted, place Medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd then 4th onwards receive a Redcliffe Little Athletics medal 🎉
