Who's stepping up?

Volunteers live long and healthier lives!
In addition to our 50th celebrations, Presentation Day, Break up party, carnival rides and fireworks on Saturday 13th May is also our AGM at 3pm (wedged between family feast and the carnival rides starting).
Whilst ALL committee positions become vacant, we do have nominations for:
Centre Manager
Canteen Officer
Asst Canteen Officer
Coach
General Committee members.

This leaves a LOT of committee positions that require filling for the 2023/24 season.
To register as a centre we MUST have:
- Secretary
- Treasurer

We also need the below positions to be filled to be functional:
- Arena Manager
- Registrar
- Nominations Officer
- Recording Officer
- Equipment officer
- First Aid Officer
- Publicity/Communications Officer
- Announcer
- Officials/Volunteers Officer
- Fundraising Officer
- Uniforms Officer
- General committee members.

If you have athletes in the U12’s and down we highly encourage you to become a part of the club and put your hand up to join the committee. If you are interested in ANY of the above positions we can send position descriptions, have a committee member call you to discuss just what that role entails, or respond to your email or message – whatever your preferred choices.

Some committee members are stepping down after 20+ years and have not had athletes at the club themselves for a decade or longer. It’s the new generations turn to step up.
You’ll be assisted by the current officer … we’re not just going to dump and run but first we need you to step up.

Working Bee Friday 5th 5pm to tidy up ready for our Saturday 13th May day of festivities. Please see previous post with all those details. It’s going to be AMAZING!
